You must have 3 plus years of experience with European automobiles and be a Red Seal or Journeyman.

Essential Responsibilities
Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Inspect and diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
Examine vehicle to identify necessary repair or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order and communicate to Service Advisor
Notify the Service Director immediately if additional work is needed if work outlined on repair order is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed by the time promised
Document in detail, the cause and corrective repairs performed.
Road test vehicles as required or refer to the inspection technician as appropriate
Attend and successfully complete training as required by the company
Provide apprentices and colleagues with regular and up to date information on technical modifications and innovations on vehicle post-training
Provide practical instruction and support for any assigned Apprentice Technician
Lubricate all moving parts with specified lubricants and conduct regular servicing as instructed and agreed.
Inspect fluid levels of power steering, transmission, differential, drain and replace as necessary
Replace air filters and pollen filters as necessary
Maintain a neat and orderly workshop and work bay.
Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives, and procedures.
Comply with required health & safety regulations.


Position Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience
Certified Red Seal and or Certified Automotive Journeyman with the current status
Efficiency and timeliness in completing work
Complete tasks on schedule with responsibility and accountability
Interpersonal skills and collaboration – work effectively with employees and customers
Communication – professional written and verbal communication skills
Accuracy – complete transactions accurately and maintain records and maintain the integrity of our DMS system
Ability to adapt to change – take on additional tasks as required (e.g. urgent requests, teamwork, workload, rush jobs, new technology).
Aptitude for learning and applying new information

Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist will lead and deploy successful marketing campaigns and events. The mandate is to strengthen client relationships and contribute to company growth, implement digital marketing campaigns and deliver on brand management guidelines. Reporting to the COO, the Marketing Specialist delivers results through strategy and teamwork from ideation to execution. This is a multi-faceted a wide variety of marketing activities.



Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Planning, Events, & Partnerships

  • Develop and implement a thorough annual strategic marketing plan to include milestones and key performance indicators that measure milestones and success
  • Plan, develop, and execute all marketing activities, media events and campaigns
  • Oversee all marketing collateral ensuring consistent tone, positioning and message are represented, reflective of the brand, across all traditional and digital outlets
  • Coach, support and lead the team to deliver on marketing strategy – ensure direct report(s) are able to develop and reach their potential, and stay on track with goals
  • Conduct regularly scheduled team meetings and strategic planning with the marketing and sales teams
  • Communicate and coordinate marketing plans to the team internally
  • Lead the event marketing strategy
  • Create the annual budget and marketing schedule/event calendar with input from the team
  • Attend events and manage the team working onsite at promotional events


Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain customer relationships and ensure customer loyalty through excellent customer service, loyalty programs, as well as with client retention events and promotional activities
  • Develop and maintain external supplier relationships
  • Manage the CRM process and identify sales-opportunities within existing database, initiating outbound CRM communications


Digital Marketing & Social Media

  • Oversee and spearhead the strategy, ideation and development of digital content across all branded social media channels, website, articles, blogs, etc.
  • Support strategy with social media analytics to determine successes, opportunities and ROI, and coordinate monthly reporting to share across the business
  • Manage and deliver a quarterly eNewsletter with promotions and activities that are engaging to our clients and external target market
  • Generate and propose new content ideas to drive engagement and build organic brand awareness through external traffic drivers on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
  • Develop graphic design pieces for marketing campaigns/projects


Branding

  • Support execution of strategic initiatives to expand brand reach and increase overall engagement, follower acquisition, and testing new channels and platform features


Education & Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field.
  • 1+ years’ experience at management level within digital marketing industry.
  • Proven track record managing SEO
  • Strong numerical, analytical and data processing skills
  • Experienced and proficient in social media marketing.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working with online search and analytics platform(s), e.g. Google Analytics, AdWords
  • Graphic design experience preferred, comfortable creating materials independently, able to understand and follow the brand.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Working knowledge of website design, development and publication processes, email marketing, and CASL.
