We undertake 3 to 4 unique and personalized car projects each year.

A year ago, we bought 6 Porsches from a private collection in Germany, and after the cars got here, a special client and friend expressed interest in the 964 Targa. This extended into an evening of how to make this more personal and unique without going over the top.

First things first, the car went through the obligatory Weissach inspection. Once all the mechanicals and suspension items were sorted, we short-listed the fun stuff and floated numerous ideas.

We settled on unique wheels that would set the pace for what was. The 17-inch Magnus walker style custom wheels with brushed gold/bronze finish prompted the retro door decal, and we thought that it would suit the Guards Red Finish. A set of Michelin Sport Cup tires were fitted;
the car was lowered on H&R lowering sport-springs, and the ride height was adjusted to give it the right aesthetic.

Best, we installed new headlights and European turbo air inlets like the 964 turbo cars. All the engine decals were refreshed, the entire car was scrubbed up, and the underside was cleaned. We installed a rear muffler bypass pipe, giving it a slightly sexy roar. Just enough!

The interior benefited from a fresh set of Recaro period-correct sports seats, and the interior was fitted and trimmed with the tartan red material from the European factory. The lower knees bolster, and rear seats were also trimmed, and the footboards were replaced with a fresh set of floor mats and a MoMo sport steering wheel with red sticking also installed. RS-style door cars installed with phone pocket and some tartan material was also added to give it a personalized look.

A new aluminum pedal set was installed, and last but not least, the Porsche classic Bluetooth radio system with upgraded speakers was added.

We fussed over a number of smaller details, and the result was a refreshed 911 that gave the enthusiast owner a very special car.

His reaction "it's sooo nice."

We live for another day.
Happy client, happy team!
