kahn-design-lamborghini-aventador-lp700-4-1This weekend we will be celebrating Chinese New Year at Scotiabank’s FEAST OF FORTUNE in support of Mount Saint Joseph (MSJ) Hospital.

This Saturday, February 6, 2016 Lamborghini Vancouver is excited to be participating in such a noble and worthy cause. Funds raised during this lavish event will be used to purchase much needed equipment for the Mount Saint Joseph Hospital’s Emergency Department and to support patients with serious health issues.

This event is now sold out, but you can still help make a contribution by donating online.

Last year’s event raised $728,000 for a CT scanner now serving patients at MSJ. In total, the Feast of Fortune has contributed more than $3 million for specialized equipment and technology since 2008.The Scotiabank Feast of Fortune provides a unique approach to Chinese New Year, combining fine dining and entertainment with fundraising auctions and opportunities for guests to pledge their support for priority equipment needs at MSJ.

2016 is the Year of the Monkey according to Chinese zodiac. The Year of the Monkey will start from February 8, 2016 and last until to January 27, 2017. The monkey is a clever animal. It is usually compared to a smart person. During the Spring and Autumn Period (770 – 476 BC), the dignified Chinese official title of marquis was pronounced ‘Hou’, the same as the pronunciation of ‘monkey’ in Chinese. The animal was thereby bestowed with an auspicious meaning.

On behalf of all of our Staff at Lamborghini Vancouver, we wish all of our Chinese Clients and their Families a very Happy New Year’s celebration this weekend and a year full of prosperity and happiness.
