2015 has been a good year so far for Weissach & Lamborghini Vancouver in supporting local and national charities. We try as much as possible to give back to the local community and we will continue to make our efforts bigger and better in the future. Last weekend’s event was no different. 22 Lamborghini owners set off on a 3 day,1000km drive from Calgary to Vancouver in support of the unbelievable work by charity group ‘Dreams Take Flight’.
Dreams Take Flight is a national non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers dedicated to providing the trip of a lifetime to medically, mentally, physically, socially or emotionally challenged children. With the aid of the Air Canada Foundation and local sponsors and businesses they make dreams a reality for special kids across Western Canada. Air Canada donates an aircraft to each chapter for the day and the money they raise throughout the year is used to pay for all other expenses incurred. This includes fuel for the aircraft, admission to the park, spending money, souvenirs, gifts and clothing to identify the children and their escorts. By the end of this year, Dreams Take Flight will have taken more than 25,000 children to the happiest place on earth – Disneyland. There they experience the wonder of friendship and magic.
We are ecstatic to share with you that we have raised over $17,000 over the last few days. The Lamborghini team was blown away by the generous donations made by our clients and we have decided to match the donations we received! We would like to say a special thank you to all of our clients for your wonderful support. We know the money raised will go to a phenomenal cause and make a lot of children’s dreams come true.
We are truly honoured to support ‘Dreams Take Flight’ and we look forward to partnering with them in the future to raise more well deserved funds.
