If you happened to be on B.C.’s Sea to Sky highway, the endlessly twisty and scenic route that runs from Vancouver to Whistler and beyond, during the first weekend of May, you might have seen more than just a few supercars out under the sun. In fact, if you had stopped to enjoy the views, you might have spotted a few hundred exotics being put to use on one of the province’s best driving roads, including thirty-eight Lamborghinis – there was even a beautiful and well-used white Countach from my dreams – and countless Porsches of varying vintages and intentions.
However, what looked like a car spotters dream on that Saturday was actually the Hublot Diamond Rally, a supercar event with a purpose. You couldn’t ever convince me that driving isn’t the biggest draw, but [...]

Comments Off on Electric Vehicles: Economically-Sound Luxury
With no exaggeration, you can accurately say that the Tesla Model S revolutionized the auto industry. With a massive shift towards electric vehicles (EV’s) within the last decade, Weissach is proud to offer a curated collection of certified pre-owned Electric Vehicles.
Why an Electric Vehicle?
There are many incredible benefits and perks that come with owning an electric vehicle. The following sections will outline why NOW is the best time to get your hands on the perfect certified pre-owned electric vehicle.
Great running costs

If power in BC costs an average of $0.10 per kilowatt-hour, the cost of an electric vehicle ends up being about $0.018 per kilometre. On average, the cost to fuel an electric vehicle is approximately an eighth of the cost of fueling a gas-equivalent car.

Comments Off on Driver Education Track Day @ Area 27 | October 2017
On our last track day of 2017, we were joined by a phenomenal group of participants and instructors.
Our Adventure Begins

We gathered together in late morning and began our journey. Despite some weather warnings along our route, we encountered nothing but clear skies and a great drive. Along the way, we stopped in Princeton and explored a small pumpkin patch.
We arrived at the Spirit Ridge Resort in Osoyoos with some time to relax before dinner. Some guests opted to visit the spa and those new to the resort toured the grounds.
Dinner was served, buffet-style, at 7pm in the resort’s restaurant. During dinner [...]

Whether you live in the city or country, or whether you drive a big or small vehicle, winter driving conditions and winter tires will impact your vehicle’s performance.
Benefits of Winter Tires
The biggest misconception drivers have when it comes to winter tires is believing that all-season tires are superior. Many drivers, for example, believe winter tires are only useful in regions with lots of snow. In fact, once temperatures drop below seven degrees Celsius, winter tires perform better whether the road surface is dry, snow covered, slushy or icy. Winter tires also feature specialized rubber compounds that retain elasticity in temperatures below -30 degrees Celsius and treads that grip at cold temperatures. In fact, winter tires deliver up to 50 per cent more cold-weather traction than all-seasons.
