Lamborghini White with Bugatti Light Blue Sport, interior in Tangerine Leather. The Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse represents the ultimate development of what is the pinnacle of super sports cars. No longer produced, the extremely rare Veyron has stunned automotive fans the world over since it was first introduced in 2005, with the Grand Sport Vitesse only becoming available in 2011. With only 450 Veyrons produced world-wide, the last of which was built in 2015, these rare cars are engineering works of art and will never be available again.
The further improved acceleration rate and the eight-litre displacement of the W16 engine, which develops a maximum torque of 1,500 Nm at 3,000 – 5,000 rpm, provides a maximum output of 1,200 hp at 6,400 rpm and an outright sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.6 seconds. With an increase of 199 hp over the Grand Sport and a top speed of 410 km/h (255 mph), the four-wheel drive Grand Sport Vitesse is the fastest production roadster ever built. While the maximum speed is taken advantage of exclusively on closed tracks with special safety precautions, the Grand Sport Vitesse has a special safeguard in “normal” handling mode, which electronically limits it to 375 km/h (233 mph).
STYLE AND DESIGN:
Created in partnership with Konigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM), this particular Grand Sport Vitesse features a unique two-tone color scheme. Rollling art, this Bugatti can be viewed from multiple angles, each of which gives a unique perspective of the coachwork’s fine lines and design detail. Rarely is such a bold approach to exterior design used on a car, which naturally flows across the contours as if a bucket of light had been poured from above. The results are abstract, logical and breathtaking. A close study of the panels also reveals a unique technical feature of the finish – the transition between the two colors is absolutely seamless, with no detectable lines, ridges or edges. This is a difficult result to achieve, and showcases both KPM’s and Bugatti’s attention to detail and extremely high technical standards.
The bright color of the interior contrasts beautifully with the exterior color choices, adding warmth and character, while remaining tasteful and not over the top. Unique to this car’s interior is the full Tangerine Leather interior, including the dashboard which was ordered with special permission* from the factory.
Factory options include KPM Style Paint, Grill Horseshoe interior mirror shine, Air intake in upper part in Lambo White, Door handles in Lambo White, SBBR Light in clear glass, GS Vitesse Rims in Variable Colours and Diamond Cut, Interior mirror in Tangerine Colour, Blue stitch on seat in Bleu Indigo, EB Logo Stitched in Bleu Indigo, Magnesium parts in Blue Indigo (nanocoated) and Brake Calipers in Orange. Please ask our sales staff for a complete list of this car’s very extensive build sheet.
*For safety concerns due to sun reflection on the windscreen, Bugatti normally does not build its cars with light-colored dashboards. This Grand Sport Vitesse was built with special permission and consent from the original owner who had ordered the car this way.
