The Turbo was an instant hit, with its incredible power coming from a 3.3-liter flat-six engine that was developing 300 bhp for this last year of the 930 designation. The 5-Speed Manual transmission was the perfect complement for this amazing car, sending it from zero to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.

Our story with this 911 turbo dates back to Nov 1992 and is continuous. The last owner bought car in June of 1997 from us. When we bought the car back last year it was in need of a completed refurbishment and the thought was to completely go through it and bring it up to Weissach standards so that it could be enjoyed by the next owner for many years to come. What has followed was a labour of love .
The engine and power train was disassembled, all the bumpers, windows and hood and engine lid removed so that we could send it out for a complete respray.
Most of the interior was removed and then repainted in its original color. We replaced all exterior rubber trim pieces which included the front and rear windshield seals, door seals, vent window seals, door handle gaskets, fender to cowl gaskets, bumper seals, all the bumper bellows, mirror base gaskets, spoiler base gaskets, door slot seal gaskets, bumper trim strips, front spoiler, sunroof seals, rear bumperettes, well you get the idea.
We also replaced the fog lights, tail lights, turn signals, marker lights and new horns were also fitted.
The air conditioning system was reconditioned including the replacement of the condenser, multiple lines and receiver drier, it was also then converted to R-134.
The engine was disassembled to the crankshaft and fitted with all new bearings and fasteners, piston rings, cylinder heads overhauled, the ignition distributor and coil replaced, muffler and wastegate spring replaced as well as all the belts, ignition wire set and hoses replaced.
A new set of tires were fitted to the factory Fuchs alloys which were also refurbished.
The Rear suspension bushings replaced along with a set of engine motor mounts
We then reassembled the car and finished up a full 4 wheel alignment prior to putting on about 300kms to ensure that she was as we would like her to be.
We then sent her out to the spa and scrubbed and cleaned her, spot dye some areas of the leather and made all of the interior look period correct. All the rubbers and seals were cleaned and naturalized and we wet sanded her to the original patina slate grey satin look before dressing the wax and polish along with a set of pictures that made us all feel very proud of the entire journey.
