Weissachs Inaugural Driver Ed Program
Beautiful weather, great comradery and driver training that was second to none! Weissach hosted the first ever driver training program at the brand new Area 27 racetrack on Sunday, October 2nd. 28 super cars came together including a mix of Porsche, Lotus & Lamborghini. Saturday morning kicked out with a relaxing convoy drive from Vancouver to Osoyoos before checking in lakeside, to the stunning Watermark Beach Resort Hotel.
After a good night sleep and a light breakfast on Sunday morning, drivers set off together to the race track approx 15 mins from the hotel. The rest of the day was only short of spectacular.
Racing legend Mr. Richard Spenard introduced himself along with the very talented and experienced driving instructions who shared their knowledge with the group for the next 8 hours. The morning started with level division, followed by coaching on different areas of the track. After a well needed lunch, adrenaline was pumping for the rest of the afternoon where drivers got to experience the full track in all of its glory. The event was meant to improve technique and skill level on a world class race track, and judging by the end results of all the students, it definitely was a great success.
We were also pleased to have been able to include our team members from Weissach and Lamborghini Vancouver at the event, it was a great honor to get to know our clients some more and share this great experience with you all. We hope everyone who joined us enjoyed the day as much as we did.
Our corporate membership at Area 27 will allow us to plan at least 4 days next year and we look forward to developing a fantastic program for 2017.
If you are a Weissach client and would like to put your name down in advance for next years track days please email email@example.com
