    Pemberton Day Drive

    Pemberton Day Drive 2017

Summer driving season is in full effect!

We spent last Saturday, July 15th on an incredible drive: the Pemberton Day Drive. This annual charity drive brings out several participants on a beautiful drive from downtown Vancouver, up and through the Sea-to-Sky, and on to sunny Pemberton.

This drive began at our Weissach Clubhouse early Saturday morning. After coffee, light breakfast, and an informative drivers meeting we set off towards our destination.

After crossing the mighty Lions Gate Bridge, we went on to the windy Sea-to-Sky highway to reach our first stop, Cypress Bowl. If you’ve never driven the road up to Cypress Bowl, you should. Not stopping at the lookout, although you also should, we continued further up and around the mountain before reaching the top, an exciting drive. We took a great group photo with some assistance from a drone and kicked off to our next stop.

We made a brief pit-stop at Caffe Garibali in Squamish. Part of the Adventure Centre, this glass building holds a wonderful cafe with great espresso, pastries, and light meals.

After a quick re-group, we journeyed onward to our final destination, Big Sky Golf & Country Club in beautiful Pemberton, BC. With huge mountains as our backdrop, we enjoyed lunch and great company at Fescues Restaurant – definitely a great end to a long and fun drive.

    Thank You

On behalf of the team at Weissach Performance we would like to thank you for your participation and continued support. Because of you, we were able to raise just over $2,000 for Robert’s Ride – surpassing his goal of $7,000.

Our very own Robert Rons, will be participating in a charity cycle from Paris to Geneva next week and 100% of all funds raised will benefit three incredible charities: The BC Cancer Foundation, the BC Children’s Hospital, and the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

If you would like to provide an additional donation please visit: www.gofundme.com/robertrons

Without your continued support, an occasion like this would not be possible. Until next year.
