Salinas, California (Saturday April 30, 2016) – Canadian Driver Damon Ockey drove the No. 09 Lamborghini of Calgary entry home in eight overall and second in class despite some mid-race challenges with the power-steering in his 620 HP Huracán.
“The race started out really well,” Ockey said. “I made my way up a couple of positions into first place in class. I came in for the pit stop and when I restarted the car my power steering was out. I was down a good second a lap after that. It was a great workout though. Ended up P2. I made it back into P1 at one point, but just wasn’t able to hold the position because of the power steering issue. Still, a fun race. We did pretty good. We’re going to get the car [...]
On behalf of all of the Lamborghini Vancouver team we would like to say a special thank you to everyone that attended the event this past Saturday. We had a fantastic day hosting you and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! Stunning cars, Great People, Delicious Food… we can’t think of a better way to spend Saturday afternoons.
There’s a popular saying that claims you should never mess with a good thing, but sometimes the status quo begs to be challenged. Well known for overcoming challenges and pushing boundaries, Lamborghini took the acclaimed all-wheel drive Huracán LP 610-4, trimmed off the front [...]
Lighter and more powerful than before, the redesigned Evora 400 is also faster and more sophisticated than any other Lotus in history, claim its creators. It’s been around for six years – this is not so much a face-lift as a reincarnation. Lotus says more than two-thirds of the parts are new. The Evora looks much the same from dead abeam, but the nose and tail are comprehensively new, and the cabin too. So is much of what’s underneath.
400 horses from a Toyota 3.5-litre V6 engine, which Lotus transmogrifies with its own supercharging, charge-cooling, intakes, exhaust and management. It’s an ever-alert beating heart to the car. At the front there are much bigger grilles designed into the nose, there not just to give the car a more thrusting appearance but also to allow [...]
When it goes on sale next spring, the Huracán Spyder will offer three roof colors (red, brown, and black), 11 non-special paint colors, five interior trim packages, 17 interior colors, and endless more personalization options available through the Ad Personam customization program.
As expected, the Huracan Spyder is identical to the coupe from the waist down, with only the soft-top, the engine lid, and the rear haunches setting it apart.
The new soft-top is arguably the highlight of the Huracan Spyder, as it was designed with the utmost attention as to not alter the coupe’s aerodynamic shape too much.

Unveiling at Geneva International Motorshow Koenigsegg Regera Press release March 3, 2015
The Regera – A New Era The Regera was created as a luxury Megacar alternative to Koenigsegg’s traditional extreme lightweight race-like road cars. Even though the One:1 and the Agera RS have surprising levels of practicality, creature comforts and features, their primary focus is, and has always been, to be the overall fastest cars on the planet – around a racetrack or elsewhere. Regera is Swedish for “to Reign” – a suitable name for a machine that offers a never seen before combination of power, responsiveness and luxury – creating a true Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde persona. In spite of all its advanced technology and creature comforts, the Regera is comparatively light. Therefore it can still perform competitively around a race circuit. According to us, the only Hyper/Megacar that could be faster around a circuit, [...]

Where were you before you started at Lamborghini? Since my very first job in high-school, I’ve always worked with cars – I’ve done many different jobs, from detailing right up to assisting the service department. I’ve loved every minute of it and never considered working in any other business.
What brought you to Lamborghini? Since I was a little kid, Lamborghini has always been at the top of my list. Working for Lamborghini was definitely a big ambition of mine. And I didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity when it came up.
What’s it like working for such a successful and inspiring brand? I’ve had to work hard to prove myself here. It’s been 3 years now, and I still come in everyday with the same enthusiasm and I go home with a great feeling. I love it.
