The Purist Edition Elise gets back to the basics of “Performance Through Lightweight” and features a lower base price, all while retaining the true essence of a Lotus; in the words of Colin Chapman, this car is "Everything you need, and nothing you don't".
This car comes one way and only built in a small production batch, so there may not be any available once they are all sold out. It features power windows, Black leather seats with Probax anatomical padding, 4-speaker stereo with in-dash CD player, Leather-trimmed Momo steering wheel, sound deadening insulation, central door locks and intermittent windshield wiper, air conditioning, starter button, tinted glass, and carpeted floormats.
In Saffron Yellow with Black leather interior, a 1.8 L, 190 bhp engine, and equipped with a 6-speed transmission.
